Job Description

Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the successful Asset Availability Leader candidate include but are not limited to the following:
• Provide daily support to the Tissue production area.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment related problems.
• Assist in prioritizing maintenance work in the area.
• Identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain equipment reliability data for the Tissue production area.
• Review daily operating logs to identify reliability issues.
• Pareto and analyze reasons for lost availability and review with reliability engineering.
• Report asset availability information to production area and senior management.
• Identify needs for Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA). Lead, track, expedite and participate in and assure quality of RCFAs.
• Assist in continuing to develop and improve Operator Basic Care process (OBC).
• Develop and support planned machine outages and preventive/proactive maintenance.
• Support Small and Large projects in the production area.

Education:
• BS Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering required.

Basic Qualifications:
• BS Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering;
• a minimum of 3 years experience in tissue manufacturing or light weight paper manufacturing processes;
• a minimum of 3 years experience with reliability practices around tissue machines.

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, planning and organization skills.
• Proficient use of computer-based maintenance systems and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to develop and implement improvement processes and projects.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and to analyze production loss and reliability data.
