Candidates with prior design teaching experience are particularly encouraged to apply. About our program: The Department of Aerospace Engineering at Texas A&M University has a long-standing and recognized tradition of providing industry supported design-build-fly experiences for our undergraduates, in particular through our signature two-semester capstone aircraft-design sequence. The first semester covers configuration design and synthesis from requirements definition through critical design review, while the second semester consists of validation and verification through simulation, wind tunnel testing, and sub-scale flight testing and report out. Rocket and spacecraft design is also part of our program with research opportunities in our AggieSat lab. For addtional information about the department, visit http://aero.tamu.edu/.
